The Affair NewSouth Books The Affair, Han’s Koning’s first novel, is the debut title in NewSouth Book’s reprint series of his complete body of fiction. The book follows a student as he attempts to forge a relationship with a young painter who prefers to remain free and unattached. In simple prose, Koning takes readers into the insular world of the main character, Anthoni, revealing his increasing obsession with the affair.
