The photographs in Opening Scenes, as photographs often do, invite the viewer into a narrative. The photographs are cinematic. Each image establishes a situation. Something has happened, something is about to happen. Each of these 54 exquisite duotones is a mystery, part of a story, which the viewer, in his or her own way, completes. One seldom encounters such evocative art and technical perfection as Seider gives us in his stunning photography.
