Eight years ago Sheila Buckworth’s son, Michael, disappeared with another young boy. Now, Sheila thinks she knows what happened to Michael and wants Donald Youngblood to confirm it. The case soon intersects with an FBI terrorist investigation and Youngblood and Sheriff’s deputy Billy Two Feathers soon find themselves in the desert of southwest Arizona uncovering a sinister plot to seriously damage the U.S. government. Racing against time to discover the lair of the terrorist group known as the Midnight Riders, Youngblood and the FBI must bring them down before the group can execute their “big event.”
Soon after he takes the Buckworth case, Clay Carr, a local all-state football player, wrecks his car and kills his girlfriend. As Clay remains in a coma, Youngblood’s adopted daughter, Lacy, asks him to investigate. Youngblood soon learns the car crash was no accident. Working with his police detective wife, Mary, the Youngbloods are intent on finding the person responsible.
Juggling two cases is nothing new for Donald Youngblood and he once again proves that he is up to the task.
