Laurie Bostian Laurie Cox Bostian is an artist, born and raised in the Carolinas, whose passions are painting and teaching. She is a 1994 Teaching Fellow graduate of Appalachian State University and is the owner of Personal Artist Studio & Gallery in Lincolnton, North Carolina, where she accepts portrait commissions from all over the world, illustrates, and teaches students ages five to adult.
