She is a communications specialist and coordinator of communications and community outreach for N.C. State University’s MarketReady program at the North Carolina Research campus in Kannapolis. She is currently working on a biography of Dr. John L. Creech, world-famous plant hunter. She lives in Davidson, North Carolina.
