Ted M. Dunagan
Ted M. Dunagan was named 2009 Georgia Author of the Year in the young-adult category for his debut novel, A Yellow Watermelon. In 2010, the novel made the Georgia Center for the Book’s inaugural list as one of the 25 Great Books Young Georgians Should Read. His second novel, Secret of the Satilfa, was published by NewSouth Books in 2010. Dunagan attended Georgia State University and served for three years in the army as a member of the 101st Airborne Division and Special Forces Training Group. He writes features and columns for the Monticello News in Monticello, Georgia, where he lives.
