Bertram H. Groene

Bertram Hawthorne Groene is the author of Antebellum Tallahassee; Memoir of Seaton Fleming: The Florida Troops in the Army of Northern Virginia; and Pike: A Fortress in the Wetlands. He has written many articles on Civil War history and over a hundred book reviews on military and naval topics. He has also lectured extensively on the topic of Civil War ancestry and military units. Groene is a member of the Louisiana Historical Society.
