Miriam Herin
Miriam Herin was born in Miami, Florida. She earned a Ph.D. in English literature from the University of South Carolina. She has taught literature and composition at Limestone College in New Jersey, Appalachian State University and Greensboro College in North Carolina. She has been on the editorial staff of Good Housekeeping magazine and the Winston-Salem Journal. She has also freelanced as a writer, editor, public relations consultant, and film and video producer. For six years in Charlotte, North Carolina, she volunteered her time to develop and coordinate a program for Southeast Asian teenagers whose families were refugees from the Vietnam War. She and her husband live in Greensboro, North Carolina. Absolution is her first novel.
