John Manuel
John Manuel has published articles in Audubon, Backpacker, Canoe & Kayak, and Friends of Wildlife, as well as many others. He teaches environmental writing at the Duke Young Writer’s Camp and is a team leader for the Haw River Stream Watch program. His formal education—B.A. from Yale University and Masters of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill—combined with more than a decade of work in the public and private sector give him the knowledge and experience to write compelling stories on a variety of topics. He lives in Durham, North Carolina.
