Margaret Morley

Margaret Warner Morley (1858-1923) was born in Iowa but grew up in New York. She was a teacher, naturalist, illustrator, photographer, and writer. She wrote eighteen books on nature for children and two travelogues for an adult audience. She traveled widely, settling for many years in Tyron, NC.
