Erik Lars Myers has pretty much run the gamut of right- and left-brained career choices. With a degree in theater and performance and a long work background in programming, he somehow ended up right in the middle with a beer in hand. Myers has worked with the North Carolina Brewers Guild. He was the executive editor for the Know Your Brewer website and founded the blog Top Fermented, where he comments regularly about beer, brewing, and the craft beer industry. He has published over 90 columns and is currently a staff writer at Intrepid Media. He recently opened Mystery Brewing Company in Hillsborough, North Carolina, a region that is home to one of the country’s most outstanding emerging beer cultures.
