Daniel Wallace Daniel Wallace is an award-winning novelist and screenwriter. His novel Big Fish was adapted for the screen and became a critically acclaimed movie. Wallace is also the author of Mr. Sebastian and the Negro Magician, The Watermelon King, and Ray in Reverse. He is a professor of English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a monthly contributor to Our State magazine.
