Ann Greenleaf Wirtz
Ann Greenleaf Wirtz is a decendent of the Brubaker family who settled in the Blue Ridge of Roanoke, Virginia, in 1789. She has an elementary education degree from Bradley University and a Master's degree from Illinois State University. She is the author of Sorrow Answered and writes stories for Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and has been a freelance writer for the Burlington Times-News. She has one son, and daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. Ann is married to Hendersonville native, Patrick Wirtz.
