Ben Fountain

Ben Fountain is the author of the National Book Critics Circle Award-winning novel Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and the story collection Brief Encounters with Che Guevara, which garnered the PEN/Hemingway Award and the Barnes & Noble Discover Award for Fiction. He grew up in North Carolina and has lived with his family in Dallas, Texas, since 1983.
